‘Nguraku’ / ‘A Tjuntjunjara Story’ at WA Museum Boola Bardip
Produced by Milpa / Spinifex Arts Centre
Post-Production by Steven Alyian
Two digital screen works produced for Milpa at the Spinifex Arts Centre, commissioned by the WA Museum that tell the story and history of the people of the Tjuntjunjara community. I was honoured to work alongside Milpa director Ange Leech, travelling out the community to help edit and animate the projects with the help of the local artists, incorporating their paintings, drawing, sculpture and performances into a multi-faceted digital screen work that extends 24 meters down the side of the Museum alongside a short documentary being screened as part of ‘The Spinifex People’ exhibition at the museum which opened in December 2024.
