Enliven Online Music & Arts Festival
Presented by Alyian and Visit Perth
In the midst of lockdown during 2020, I successfully applied to the City of Perth to curate an online streamed music festival showcasing some of the diverse creative talent we have in Perth, taking place at 5 local live original music venues over 5 weeks, live-streamed online in high quality. This drew together a massive amount of artists and crew whom i’ve worked with in the fields of music, production and film-making into a massive undertaking.
A re-invigoration of Perth’s music and performing arts scene.
Five events over five weeks that celebrate the creative community of Perth live streamed online from some of the best venues in our city.
Tune in live each week to see some of Perth’s best artists perform at the venues that champion Perth’s original music scene. Enliven Fest will showcase iconic Perth artists alongside emerging raw talent, expressing the collective gratitude for this rich and diverse entertainment industry that has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
Commencing Saturday June 20th and running until July 18th as part of the City of Perth’s ‘Visit Perth Online’ and streamed via RTRFM, Enliven features a diverse array of some of the best talent Perth has to offer, including comedy, performance art and more.
Sponsored by The City of Perth, RTRFM and supported by WAM.

More about Enliven Fest
Enliven Fest aims to reinvigorate the sense of belonging to Perth’s creative and entertainment communities afflicted by the covid-19 crisis. Giving audiences an opportunity to become excited and reconnect to the local culture that they love, providing income and support for the artists and industry workers and strengthening the cultural identity of Perth in a time when it is truly needed.
Curated by local artist and musician Steven Alyian, one of the team responsible for WA’s Camp Doogs festival, Enliven will re-invoke the spirit of classic ABC TV music series ‘Recovery’ with a focus on live music performance mixed with pop-culture segments and comedy sketches.
Enliven Festival and The City of Perth acknowledge the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters where Perth city is situated today, and pay our respect to Elders past and present.
